For 14 years, Brand:NEW has been a laboratory of writers, actors, directors and audiences, developing new works and discussing the process of making plays. During the first week of November, 5 of today’s most exciting playwrights – along with 25 actors, 4 directors and a dozen stage managers, dramaturgs and assistants – will take over Hartford Stage’s rehearsal halls to write, re-write, experiment and dream.
